Actuator and accessory for valves

Overview Actuator and accessory

Actuator and accessory for valves

The two valves position the switch between the Load and Inject. Or Position A and Position B. The channel selector (multi-function valve) operates at constant speed in incremental increments. There are several ways to activate each type of valve. Along with a number of support controllers and devices for communicating with actuators with computer control systems.

Electronic actuator

  • CE certification
  • Automatic link
  • Manual or remote control
  • Two locations and selected version
  • Two-way communication RS-232
  • Global power supply, 110/230 VAC to 24 VDC

Small electrical drives provide Valco’s reliability in a unit that is less than half the size of our standard model. The actuator consists of a control module, a manual gearbox, a manual remote control, a 110/230 VAC power cable and a 24VDC power supply. RS-232 communication cables, if required, must be set separately.

Micro actuator and accessory are designed for use in rooms. Valves that will be installed in the kiln require assembly.

Two positions

Two-position voltage controllers have induction circuits to avoid problems with deflection of the valve actuator and accessory. This also means that a set of actuator and accessory can be dropped for a variety of valves.

Positioning (for selectors)

Multi-function actuator and accessory can be easily programmed to select positions from 2 to 96 positions. With a key difference, automatic sorting is automatic.

Standard electric drives

  • Position indicator
  • Manual or remote control
  • 110 VAC or 230 VAC (two positions also available in certified version 24 VDC CE)
  • There is no need for electricity on the chromatogram

Standard electric drives can be manually operated by a switch. Or automatically by any data system with a temporary closure or a true 5 VDC logic output. A complete system, actuators including interface cable, power cord. And manual controller assembled with position indicator.

The SVI (serial valve interface) is specifically designed to interface standard electrical drives with RS-232 compatible systems. Allowing control of up to six actuators via a modem, programmable BASIC, or Valco PC software.

Standard electric drives are designed for use at room temperature. Valves that will be installed in the kiln require assembly.

Two positions

Standard two-position actuator and accessory can be operated manually or automatically. Also available in a certified 24 VDC CE model.

Positioning (for selectors)

Standard power generators (selectors) have manual controls with an LED display to adjust the sequential counter from one position to another. Or to return to position 1 ( Home page). These functions and other functions can also be automated.

Air controller

  • Reliable performance under stringent conditions
  • Lightweight and low air consumption suitable for aerospace applications
  • High temperature model for use up to 175 ° C
  • Can be automated with the addition of a digital valve interface (DVI)

The air flow is very useful in case any spark can be catastrophic or without electricity. They are small, relatively inexpensive, very rugged and reliable. And can be used in the field. Low air consumption and lightweight construction make it suitable for aerospace hardware applications as well as laboratory or process applications.

Standard air drives are rated up to 80 psig at temperatures up to 70 ° C. Generally, valves are heated requiring a vertical assembly, placing the air inlet from hot areas and support valves and actuators. High temperature models allow the valve and actuator to be mounted in one furnace (max 175 ° C) but not below 50 ° C.

The rotation of the actuator (two positions) or the position number (multi-edge) must be matched to the position of the valve. If you are switching the manual valve to an electric starter and have any doubts about the actuator and hardware you need, contact our salesman or technical staff for assistance. support.

Two positions

Two position actuators can be used with any Valco Valve or Cheminert Valve two positions.

Positioning (for selectors)

The multi-position actuator (selector) operates with any of our selectors and includes a rotary adapter that can be connected to a digital reading device of your design.

  • Global power actuator and accessory
  • An electric actuator works with two position valves and selectors
  • Simple, simple communication protocol
  • Multiple interfaces
  • Three versions for different torque requirements
  • Modular version is more flexible in tool design
  • Automatic global power supply, 110/230 VAC to 24 VDC

Universal drives allow instrument makers to use a single control software and motor to operate virtually any Valco or Cheminert valve. This simplifies the electronic aspects of tool design and streamlines the development process.

All our Valco and Cheminert valves and variants have three drive models: high speed, medium to high torque, and high torque. Click if you have questions about the actuator model you need.

The standard interface allows for simple positioning commands.  Step and Home for selectors, A and B for two positions – via direct input signals from closed, relay contacts. Or TTL compatible interface. Extensive command sets are available with optional RS232 / 485, USB or BCD interfaces.

The controllers listed below include a universal 24 volt DC power supply and a manual controller. An OEM version that does not include these items is also available. Hardware mounting must be set separately. Please contact our sales staff or technical staff to determine the required hardware.

User manual

Simplicity and low cost are the main advantages of manual activation. Some models may be orderd with position feedback, an option that sends a signal to start a data system when the valve is switched.

Hardware

If you have a Valco Type W valve with no hardware and want a knob on it. Or if you are converting an air or actuated voltage to two valve positions for manual use, here is what you need.

Assembly

If you have a valve but do not have a starter, this assembly will allow you to attach it to the oven and activate it with a knob outside the hot area.

Handle

If you already have a spare assembly but do not have a knob or retainer. Or have a valve operated on a stop that you want to switch to manual use, you will find what you need here.
